This is the site of Richard Minich, a writer who writes about fishing, historical travel, mission trips, his faith journey and, by the way, turns out a few novels here and there. I am experimenting here with an opportunity for you to read any of these things I have written and, if you like my voice, pay me a little here and there. Check it out.

3/12/13 i took almost a month off from this site to go on a one week mission trip. Sounds like slacking to me. But the days that I take to select and prepare these pieces, not to mention write them, get lost and mixed up when I go on these trips. This was my winter vacation the last three years and it is a great way for me to work with youth in and out of my local church and get to know both them and the adults that participate. Want a man to be a Christian? Put a hammer in his hand. Today's features are Hellhound on Our Trail in the My Faith Journey category and Way Up Off Down to Wyoming County in the Historical Travel category. The first is part of a longer piece that I'm working on about the mission trip. The second is a long piece I wrote after going on one of Rick Ohler's bus trips for writers and artists to Wyoming County. In addition I start my second serialized novel with a big chunk from the beginning of Vengeance is Thine. This is the fourth novel in the Joe Gaspe series. See my website at www.richardaminich.com for information about the first three novels. Subtitle this one, Joe Gaspe Takes the Jesus Road.
2/6/13 I'm including three pieces today that I consider to be inspirational because I'll be off for the next two weeks on a church mission trip. Who knows what that will yield. There is a Mission Travel piece titled The Wheel that speaks to a faith experience and there is a moment of epiphany when Jesus Loans Holly a 2 by 4 categorized under My Faith Journey. Speaking of faith stay with me because in three weeks I'll start to serialize another novel. Read. Enjoy. Share. Be Good.
